High in oil content the Hass avocado is an excellent source of vitamins C, E, K, and B-6, as well as riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and potassium. They also provide lutein, beta-carotene, and omega-3 fatty acids – the healthy type designed to keep your heart healthy!
eaning “strong” in Spanish, this variety has Mexican/Guatemalan origins and are slightly larger and more elongated than their Hass cousins and characterized by its deep emerald color and smooth, thinner skin.
Weighing between 200-300grams on average, Fuertes are emerald green in color with a creamy taste and similar oil content to the Hass variety. And just like its Hass cousin, the Fuerte offers the same potent line up of vitamins and minerals and heart health omega-3 fatty acids.
